Assistant Designer

November 2021 - Present 

  • Collaborate with the head designer to create the most fashionable apparel for each season for the categories of lingerie and swimwear.

  • Making detailed digital sketches of designs and calling out the components of each design such as stitches, fabrics, design details, and trims.

  • Creating line sheets with colored up artwork of designs for each season to share cross functionally and make changes to all line sheets. 

  • Using Adobe Photoshop and illustrator to create digital laces and color palettes to use in sketching in the garments for each season

August 2019 - Present

Associate Technical Designer for Lulus.com

  • Led fittings on live models with designers, buyers, and production teams to execute desired aesthetic

  • Illustrating design and fit changes on Adobe Illustrator to better communicate with international vendors

  • Creating tech packs and garment construction manuals for vendors to standardize the fit of garments

  • Evaluating the quality of all pre-production samples to ensure standards were well achieved while partnering with production teams and vendors to inquire discount rates or cost absorption from factories

March 2020 - Present

Owner and Apparel Designer of Cherry Chérie

  • Design and create apparel, accessories, and jewelry for my start up brand: Cherry Chérie.

  • Create content for my upcoming eCommerce fashion business through the social media platform: Instagram

  • Research trends and styles to design merchandise that my consumers will want to purchase

  • Hand-making all merchandise and advertising it for purchase throughout the United States

Designer for Baton Rouge Fashion Week

  • Designed and constructed an eight look collection to showcase at Baton Rouge Fashion Week

  • Assisted in model selection by judging model casting calls with the designer's preferences and target markets in mind

  • Advertised for the event by premièring one design on the WBRZ morning news station

  • Specializing in the brand Free People by researching the brand, knowing the Free People girl, and being familiar with current trends and styles

  • Met daily sales goals as well as help customers have a one of a kind shopping experience

  • Visual merchandising by displaying new apparel and new trends on mannequins throughout Dillards

Assistant Manager & Social Media Consultant at Local Charm: An Artisan Jewelry Store

  • Aided customers by showing them merchandise and providing interesting facts about each jewelry piece

  • Persuaded customers to buy more jewelry by up-selling items and helping to grow daily sales
